Race Time and Place
The Wells Fargo Boulder Mountain Tour begins with a wave start at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Senate Meadows, just east of Galena Lodge, 25 miles north of Ketchum , Idaho on Highway 75. Buses will transport skiers and spectators from the Hemingway School in Ketchum to the start and back again from the finish at the SNRA Headquarters. There will be no private parking available at Galena Lodge without an Officials Parking Permit, Strictly Enforced. Drop-offs are allowed ¼ mile south of the lodge.
Distance and Course Information
The 32-kilometer course is set from Galena Lodge to the Sawtooth National Recreation Headquarters north of Ketchum , Idaho . The course is gently rolling and has an elevation drop of 1100 feet over its 20-mile length. The race is designated as an open skate race however there is a single track at the side of the course for those who prefer to use classic technique. The start area has tracks set for the first 100 meters (no skating in the tracked area). There will be inspection of the course allowed on Friday, February 2nd at no charge until 4:00 p.m. when the racecourse will be closed. Use of the trail before Friday and anytime after the race will require a $17.00 trail fee. See the course map for more information

NEW ENTRY FEE INFORMATION

The race will be limited to the first one thousand participants registered. Mailed entries must be accompanied by the correct entry fee to be processed, and MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE THE DEADLINE. The entry fee includes participation in the race, transportation to the start and back to Ketchum from the finish, clothing duffle with transport from the start to the finish, bail-out shuttles along the course, aid stations, finish area food and refreshments as well as race souvenirs and promotional materials. The entry fee also includes admission to the Awards Ceremony LOCATION TBD and a raffle ticket for each entry. You must be present at the awards ceremony to be eligible for raffle prizes. Entry Confirmation
Entry confirmations are NOT sent via email or snail mail. You must confirm your entry by first going to the “Entry Confirmation” page and searching the race entry database for your confirmed entry and wave assignment. You may search the entire field to determine who is in your age class as well as who is in your wave. Please be certain to check that your information is correct. The database is up dated weekly so please be patient, as your entry may not confirm for as long as a week. If you find there is a problem with your information, please email registration@bouldermountaintour.com with corrections. An entrant may call 208 788 6751 to confirm after January 10, 2008 however there are no guarantees the phone can be answered at all times. The Email addresses are used for no reason other than communication from the race organization to the participants
Age Classifications
All finishes will be electronically timed and recorded until 2 p.m., then all remaining finishes will be manually timed and recorded. There will be awards in all age classes for individual men and women. The skier’s age class will be determined by his or her age on Jan. 1, 2008.

Substitutions
In the event that a registered WFBMT skier is unable to compete in the race and chooses to give his or her entry to another person, the new participants must inform the race organization of the change, fill out a new race registration form and sign a RACE WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY. The new racer will be assigned to a wave according to his or her personal race history. There will be an additional $10 fee for the change. Failure to sign a RACE WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY will result in disqualification and denied racing privileges. The deadline for substitutions is midnight January 29, 2008 all required information must be Received by this date. Email is not accepted..
Refund and Cancellation Policy
There will be No Refunds on registration for any reason. Please do not ask! If you do not have a friend that is interested in buying your entry fee then you might consider placing your information on the BMT Forum located on the Home Page.
Insurance
The race organizers and sponsors cannot be responsible for accidents during or in conjunction with the competition nor the physical condition of the participants. Therefore, each participant enters at his or her own risk and all participants are responsible for the provision of their own insurance coverage. Each entrant must sign the “Waiver and Release of Liability” on the official entry form before being permitted to participate.
Pre-Race Bib / Bag Pick-up
All entrants will need to pick up their Race Bibs and Clothing Bags along with last minute race information, wave seeding information, souvenirs and promotional materials on Friday February 1st at the Wells Fargo Boulder Mountain Tour Expo from 10:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. in Ketchum at the Wood River YMCA on the corner of Warm Springs Road and Saddle Road. Look for the Boulder Mountain Tour banners. For entrants arriving in Sun Valley after 8:00 p.m. on Friday there will be late bib pickup at Galena Lodge till 9:00 a.m. on race day. Your official race bag is to be used for your warm clothing and will be transported from the start to the finish by the race organization, please be sure it is clearly marked with your race number and is placed in the appropriate drop-off area for your wave. Any additional items, like ski bags, must be clearly marked with your bib number and every effort will be made to transport them to the finish. Take a few extra minutes to be sure your bag is properly marked before you leave it at the start. Do not leave loose clothing, car keys, cell phones, small children, dogs, cats or anything except your marked race bag at the start as the race officials cannot guarantee it will make it to the finish.

Awards Ceremony
The Wells Fargo Boulder Mountain Tour Awards Ceremony will be held Saturday February 2nd following the race at 6:00 PM at the Limelight Room in the Sun Valley Inn. There will be limited complimentary snacks and a no-host bar available to all Boulder Mountain Tour entrants at no additional cost. Each entry will include one raffle ticket, which must be deposited at the Awards Ceremony and you must be present to be eligible for raffle prizes.
Awards will include cash training grants from Wells Fargo Bank, wrist watches courtesy of Christopher and Company and special Ibex clothing for the top finishers, cash awards from Wells Fargo Bank and Sotheby’s Realty Tom Heinrich for the Preem winners as well as prize table awards and medals for the age group winners. The Zenergy Award, cash awards for the top skier in each wave both men and women. The Kearns Builders Half Fast Awards for the man and woman who finishes in the exact middle of the field, the Chateau Drug Fastest man and woman from Idaho as well as the second annual Biznet Boulder Cup awarded to the top state represented in the results. Utah won the 2007 cup so all the other states will be gunning for a win.
In addition to the above awards there will be a large number of raffle prizes including skis, boots, bindings, clothing and training aids from Rossignol, Atomic, Fischer, Madshus, Hammer Gel, Salomon, Toko, Smith Optics, and Swix.
The Awards Ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 PM and conclude by approximately 7:15 PM. There will be plenty of time for your dining pleasure after the ceremony. Please support the restaurant community and make your dinner plans early. The race organizers would like to invite you to attend the ceremony then have an enjoyable evening on the town.
